Dyan Gershman, an experienced corporate attorney, is the founder and partner of Gershman Law PLLC in New York City. Ms. Gershman draws on more than 25 years of experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions to support her U.S. and international clients in a wide variety of corporate matters, both domestic and cross-border.

Prior to founding her firm, Dyan Gershman was a corporate attorney at the renowned international law firm Jones Day in New York City where she represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as mid-sized U.S. and international clients. Following Jones Day, Ms. Gershman was an executive-level corporate attorney at two Fortune 50 companies, Bristol-Myers Squibb and General Electric. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, she was head of mergers and acquisitions and corporate law worldwide, and at General Electric she was executive counsel for transactions and finance. In these roles, Ms. Gershman led some of BMS’s and GE’s largest and most strategic U.S. and international transactions, including many multi-billion dollar acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

Dyan Gershman then re-entered private practice by founding her own firm that has corporate clients of all sizes, including many European clients. Fluent in French, and conversant in Italian, Ms. Gershman has substantial experience working with non-U.S. clients.

Dyan Gershman received her law degree from Boston College Law School where she was an executive editor of the Boston College Law Review and graduated cum laude.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Gershman maintains an active community presence through volunteer work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Catskill Animal Sanctuary. She is also an active member of the NYC Bar and the New York Women's Bar Association.
